Confraternity of Christian Doctrine (CCD)

Welcome to Saint Lawrence's Religious Education Program

Our religious education program is open to children of pre-school through high school. The program is staffed by volunteers who desire to share their faith with our children.

We meet in the Parish Center on Sunday mornings after the 9:00AM Mass during the school year. All children and teens are welcome.

In addition to solid catechesis and formation we also sponsor parish wide events including All Saints Day, Epiphany Party, and High School Pilgrimage and service days.

Children also prepare to receive sacraments during these classes while working with specific books and doing projects.

Rooted

“So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness”   Colossians 2:6-7

Rooted Logo.png

Rooted is a ministry designed for the spiritual, human, intellectual, and apostolic formation of 6th-12th grade girls. At each meeting we gather to pray, learn, eat, and have fun. Rooted is girl-led and mother supported. The roles each girl fills helps grow skills needed as a Catholic Woman. Together we’ll:

  • Increase understanding of Scripture

  • Explore the truths of your faith

  • Blossom in your relationship with Jesus Christ

  • Reflect on & deepen your Spiritual Journey

  • Build loving friendships, to support, encourage,

          and challenge each other.

  • Live your faith daily

Every other Thursday

5 pm - 8:30 pm

In St. Lawrence Church
