The Education Committee sets standards for receiving tuition support and ensures the standards are met. The committee also approves additional fund raisers, as warranted. The Education Committee meets with the families applying for tuition support in January, where standards on the application are discussed. The Education Committee then meets in February to approve/disapprove families for tuition support, additional fund raisers and creates a budget for the next academic year. The committee then meets with Father to discuss applications, additional fund raisers and the budget. The budget for tuition support is taken to the Finance Committee for final approval. The Education Committee meets as needed, throughout the year.
There are no upcoming events until the Gala in November (date undecided at this time), which is an approved fund raiser for families with children attending a Catholic high school.
